Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Avon, NY is seeking a Quality Auditor to join the 1st shift team. You will perform QA audits, verify HACCP and label accuracy, and support sanitation and safety programs in a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities include material inspections, environmental swabbing, weight and gas analyses, and recording results. OT may be required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills essential for cross-functional teamwork.
• Prior manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with USDA and Kraft policy.
• Conduct sanitation and housekeeping audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Swab equipment and environmental surfaces for contamination checks.
• Verify HACCP plan integrity and label accuracy; document records.
• Inspect incoming meat and raw materials as needed; log findings.
• Monitor weight checks, oxygen analysis, gas composition, and seal strength.
• Place product on production hold when necessary and communicate reasons.
• Maintain sanitation and QA program adherence throughout shifts.

Quality Auditor- Oscar Mayer Lunchables1st Shift: 6 AM-2:30 PM (Mandated OT as needed)The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking aQuality Auditorto work at our food processing facility in Avon, NY! Compensation Overview:

• Starting pay: $22.69/hour
• Second Shift Differential: $1.25/hour
• Third Shift Differential: $2.50/hour

Role & Responsibilities:

The Auditor is a member of the production team who is trained to perform quality assurance related tasks to ensure compliance to governmental regulations and Kraft policy.

• Perform pre-operative sanitation audits and daily housekeeping audits. Coordinate corrective action where necessary to ensure maximum uptime of production lines and compliance with USDA and OM Lunchables specifications.
• Perform bacteriological swabbing on equipment, and environmental surfaces.
• Assure integrity of the HACCP plan by ensuring that online metal detectors are operating properly and verifying that component ingredient statements match approved label copy. Document and file records of same.
• Conduct incoming meat and raw material inspections as necessary. Perform swabbing on incoming materials as necessary.
• Conduct hourly weight control checks utilizing weight net computer.
• Conduct residual oxygen analysis on packages utilizing Mocon gas analyzer and Carbon Dioxide / Nitrogen analysis on gas mixtures using Fyrite or Mocon analyzers.
• Conduct seal strength analysis on packages utilizing vacuum chamber equipment.
• Conduct finished product evaluations (case audits).
• Place product on production hold as necessary. Ensure accurate and factual information regarding holds is conveyed to the Quality Systems Coordinator.
• Enter and track component complaint information on the component complaint log.

Sanitation: Will ensure that all auditing, inspection, and environmental monitoring activities support compliance with the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program. Will verify equipment, production areas, and environmental conditions meet sanitation requirements and document findings appropriately.

Quality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured align with the Kraft Heinz Quality Assurance Program, USDA requirements, HACCP plans, and all applicable food safety policies and procedures. Identifies quality concerns, places product on hold when necessary, and works with production and quality personnel to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. including overhead work

• Working in hot and cold environments (Lunchables 40 degrees F, Cool Whip 90 degrees/ -35 degrees F, Cold Storage 0 degrees F)

Minimum Qualifications

• Able to work on all shifts, cover vacations, weekends and Holidays.
