Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality Auditor in Salt Lake City, UT to review, analyze, and drive actions that improve manufacturing quality. You will inspect electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and components, ensuring conformance to specs under supervision, with daily checks of gauges, microscopes, and templates to meet reliability standards.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will audit processes, monitor metrics, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

Advanced functional skills and ability to train others.
Detailed knowledge of audit techniques and process improvements.
Knowledge of ISO, ESD, and calibration requirements.
Knowledge of Layer Process Audits (LPA).
Experience with electronic assembly, inspection, and related processes.
Proficiency with office software and basic computing.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Ability to use ladders and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of servers, racks, and components according to specs.
Use gauges, templates, microscopes to verify product specs.
Ensure process operations completed at Quality stations.
Monitor and report quality metrics to meet business needs.
Prepare reject reports and notify required parties.
Assist with disposition of non-conforming materials.
Notify personnel of defects or yields below expectations.
Conduct process audits and interpret quality standards.
