Job summary

ABB is seeking a Quality Auditor (2nd Shift) to support the Quality Manager in ensuring product and lamination quality. The role requires auditing, sampling, and statistical analysis, with training toward CQI certifications.

Onsite with a competitive hourly rate and shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The position emphasizes quick adaptation, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to sustain ABB’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must interpret various measuring devices.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have good people skills.
• Should have basic knowledge of computers.
• High level math skills are required.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts for overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisors and Managers with follow-up checks on quality problems.
• Obtain samples from material and evaluate for adherence to company specifications for quality.
• Perform random audits of stamped parts and lamination.
• Obtain samples from outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform Epstein testing on raw material for incoming and furnace monitoring.
• Assist in creation of processes, control plans, and work instructions.
• Use all types of measuring devices and gauges.
• Learn to write and modify VMM/CMM programs for product analysis.
• Learn basic statistical analysis and laboratory procedures.
