Description

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Quality Supervisor.

Purpose

Conduct in-process and final product audits, support manufacturing with quality issues, and conduct weld tests.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final audits, verify inspection data, review control charts, and assist with containment and problem solving activities.
  • Verify weld penetration and tensile strength, maintain records, and ensure corrective actions for test failures.
  • Handle non-conforming materials, perform gauge calibration, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with part layout, process capability studies, and review control documents.
  • Perform receiving inspections and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years in manufacturing, basic SPC knowledge, and ability to use measurement equipment.
  • Good math, organization, communication skills, and self-motivation.
Physical & Work Environment

Frequent exposure to moving parts, vibration, moderate noise, and occasional hot/cold temperatures. Must lift up to 32 pounds, have manual dexterity, and wear safety gear.

Position Details

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with possible extended hours and travel to local sites.
