Job summary

Pratt Industries in Hebron Estates, KY, is seeking a production supervisor responsible for conformance to specifications and ensuring items produced meet sale quality during the shift.

You will lead audits, enforce safe work policies, maintain a clean, safe area, and ensure orders are completed to specifications while managing paperwork and data entry. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; HS diploma and 5 years manufacturing experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot problems on assigned production lines.
• Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Must have reasonable knowledge of current software and be able to follow schedules.
• Must have outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees conformance to specifications for all shift-produced items.
• Perform audits and ensure coworkers adhere to safe work policies/procedures.
• Monitor and maintain a safe, clean work area; enforce corporate policies.
• Ensure orders are completed per specifications; complete all paperwork and data entry.
• Manage sorting and reworks; participate in internal/external complaint resolution.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

• Ensure that all orders produced are completed according to the specifications provided.
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years industry experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Language Skills

Able to read and follow instructions; quality, safety, job packets

Mathematical Skills

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
