Manar, Inc. is seeking a Quality Auditor for the 2nd shift at our Edinburgh, Indiana facility.

The role involves reviewing products and materials during manufacturing, measuring against specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects to ensure compliance with company requirements. The ideal candidate has a high school education or equivalent and at least three years of experience in quality-related roles.

Quality Auditor – 2nd Shift

ABOUT MANAR

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Auditor is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they met company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality test and identifying defects.

COMPENSATION

$18.00-$22.00 per hour

Edinburgh, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the product
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates
• Performs other duties as assigned
• All other duties assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Education or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Occasional Weekends

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Exposed to work in manufacturing /machining area settings with exposure to oil, coolant, and metal residues
• Intermittent exposure to sounds or noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
• Primarily requires sitting but at times, requires long periods of standing
• At times, work is completed in a manufacturing facility requiring appropriate protective equipment at all times

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Prolonged periods of walking, reaching, crouching, twisting, lifting, pushing, standing and sitting at a desk working on a computer
• Lift and carry a minimum of 45 pounds
• Respond quickly to sounds and dangerous situations
• Wear protective eyewear and/or other protective gear correctly
