Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking a Quality Auditor – 1st Shift to perform in-process and final inspections of stamped parts using various measurement tools. The role supports the Sorting Department to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Based in Pioneer, Ohio, this full-time position offers a competitive wage, overtime availability, and full benefits. Monday–Friday, 5:45am–2:00pm with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part drawings a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine in-process inspections of parts at stamping presses using appropriate gages (calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.).
• Verify parts meet dimensional and visual standards per control plans and quality alerts.
• Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances to production and quality leadership.
• Support the Sort Department in identifying and segregating non-conforming product.
• Participate in containment activities and assist with re-inspection and rework tasks when necessary.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and traceability of sorted materials.
• Maintain clean and organized inspection and sorting work areas.
• Collaborate with press operators, quality technicians, and supervisors to promote a culture of quality.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and wear required PPE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
