  • Enter non-conformances for defective or mislabeled products and place hold tags.

Quality Auditor Wanted in McMinnville! Location: McMinnville Pay: $22/hr Department: Manufacturing

Are you the kind of person who spots a single misplaced detail from a mile away? Do you love keeping things organized, accurate, and up to top-tier standards? If so, we are looking for a fantastic Quality Auditor to join our manufacturing team and help us keep our products flawless!

What You’ll Be Doing (The Fun Stuff!):
  • Evaluating and verifying that our products are being manufactured correctly!
  • Double-checking that the quantities in our standard packs are absolutely perfect.
  • Kicking things off right by completing a first part approval on all start up jobs.
  • Inspecting the Last Tagged Part in containers that are delivered to the final audit.
  • Acting as our quality superhero by immediately reporting any problems to the shift supervisor, Plant Manager, and Quality Supervisor.
  • Playing detective to enter non-conformances for any defective or mislabeled product.
  • Slapping a hold tag on containers and arranging for defective products to take a timeout in the Quality Hold area.
  • Auditing our manufacturing cells to verify operators are following instructions and using the correct materials and packaging.
  • Ensuring that every product meets our strict visual requirements.
  • Coaching and instructing machine operators on any needed corrections.
  • Verifying that incoming products meet dimensional, visual, and quantity compliance.
  • Keeping our workspace safe and sparkling by checking for cleanliness, keeping aisles clear, and keeping supplies neat and organized.
  • Helping out with any other tasks requested by the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager!
What You Need in Your Toolkit:
  • A High school diploma is absolutely mandatory for this role.
  • An Associates degree (or better!) is highly preferred.
  • Awesome general computer skills, with a specific focus on MS Office Suite and FileMaker.
  • You must have your own reliable transportation to get to and from work.

salary: $43,680 - $45,760 per year

Responsibilities

  • Report any problems or discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately
  • Report any un-resolved problems or discrepancies to the Plant Manager and Quality Supervisor immediately
  • Enter a non-conformance for any defective or mislabeled product, place a hold tag on each container and arrange for the defective product to be moved to the Quality Hold area for disposition
The essential functions of this role include:
  • working in a smoke free environment
  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 8 hours at one time
