Job description

Deceuninck North America is a fully integrated design, compounding, tooling, and PVC extrusion company that produces energy-efficient vinyl window and door systems for the building, remodeling, and construction industry.

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Quality Auditor for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Quality Auditor will test the Reclaim and support all of the Quality Assurance Department by performing first article inspections, line audits, and other test requirements required by DNA, customers, and other outside laboratories.

Starting wage is $20.00/hour for Day shift and $22.00/hour for Night shift (includes a $2.00 shift differential).

Core Responsibilities

  • Performs profile measurements using optical comparator, calipers, Promex Scanner, and gages.
  • Complies and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Follows procedures for test methods and test equipment.
  • Reads and understands blueprints (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) so that design intent can be distinguished.
  • Performs inspections on product and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications during design, process, and calibration phases.
  • Communicates with managers, production Supervisors, production leads, and operators to assure product quality.
  • Performs first article inspections, including but not limited to color checks, impact, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections, and gage measurements.
  • Performs Gage R & R studies to ensure test methods and equipment are adequate.
  • Reads control charts, histograms, and various graphs and charts for analysis and communicates results.
  • Evaluates software and equipment capabilities and reliabilities to determine applicability for intended purpose.
  • Performs measurement system analysis (MSA) studies.
  • Performs quality checks on all engineering prints and recommends needed changes.
  • Administers calibration program for all assigned measurement equipment.
  • Administers quality control program on incoming and outgoing goods. Communicates inspection results to affected supplier/vendor and/or customer.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to use calipers, optical comparator, and tape measure.
  • Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel (basic data entry into spreadsheets).
  • Able to read blueprints and has basic knowledge of GC&T.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training in a quality-related field.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
