Responsibilities

  • Audits fee-for-service (FFS) program activity for accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
  • Collaborate with auditing groups across Operations to share best practices and ensure completeness.
  • Flags discrepancies or risk areas to the Director of Quality Management for follow-up.
  • Audits training documentation against current SOPs and documents gaps between training materials, SOPs, and actual practice.
  • Perform special audits as requested by managers or the Director of Quality Management.
  • Work with management to develop, implement, and coach staff on procedures and requirements.
  • Documents audit results and present findings to management regularly.
  • Analyzes audit data and provides recommendations on areas of improvement, including recurring issues.
  • Supports root-cause identification for escalated or urgent cases by reviewing audit findings.

Quality Auditor

Reports To: Director of Quality Management

Position Overview

The Quality Auditor supports the Director of Quality Management by conducting and overseeing audits across operational areas, including call quality, fee-for-service (FFS) program transactions (e.g., free goods, bridge, post-transfer), and training documentation/SOP adherence, to ensure quality performance standards are consistently met. This role helps identify gaps between documented procedures and actual practice, documents findings, and provides input that feeds into broader quality and process‑improvement efforts across operations.

Education & Licensing
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • PTCB, NHA license preferred.
  • Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license preferred.
Experience
  • One to three years' experience in healthcare or specialty pharmacy operations environment.
  • Previous quality assurance or audit experience preferred.

  • Documents audit results and present findings to management on a regular basis.
  • Analyzes audit data and provides recommendations on areas of improvement, including recurring issues that may point to SOP or training gaps.
  • Supports root‑cause identification for escalated or urgent cases by reviewing related audit findings when requested.
  • Performs all tasks in a manner consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws.
