Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is hiring a Quality Auditor to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. You will review SOWs, RFPs, design plans, processes, and test procedures to understand scope and requirements, and provide technical assistance to customers, suppliers, and colleagues in resolving issues.

The role requires 3–5 years in quality engineering, knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100, cross-functional collaboration, and up to 20% travel within the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
  • 3–5 years of quality engineering or related experience required.
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100D auditor preferred.
  • Up to 20% travel within the United States required.
  • Ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Audit quality processes and systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate audit reports, pre-audits, and corrective action requests; communicate results to leadership.
  • Investigate problems and develop dispositions and corrective actions for recurring quality discrepancies.
  • Facilitate DCMA and third-party audits; interact with programs, engineering, customers, and supply chain to ensure requirements are met.
  • Identify risks and mitigation solutions; support continuous improvement across Draper facilities.

Responsible for investigating and resolving issues. Reviews SOW (Statements of Work), RFP (Request for Proposals), design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and manuals, to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.Job Description:Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance and support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving issues.Assist in the improvement of manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.Ensures products meet the organizations and customers quality and product integrity requirements.Supports product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.Participates in a cross function team in the determination of root cause of failures.
