Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of full-time employment with Red Rock.
  • Five years of experience with insurance billing and claims research preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in business-related subjects preferred.
  • Proficiency in 10-key, computer and data entry systems, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accounts receivable quality assurance standards that align with Red Rock policies, procedures, and operational expectations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of program standards, insurance billing requirements, and best practice models in accordance with CARF, DMH, and OHCA guidelines.
  • Participate in the ongoing review, preparation, and monitoring of clinical billing and reporting processes to support accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Accounts Receivable and management team to communicate identified training needs, recommend improvements, and support effective training program implementation.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to staff regarding claims, funding, and audit findings to promote accuracy and accountability.
  • Identify training opportunities based on audit results, performance trends, and productivity measures, and update productivity averages as needed.
  • Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities that support the growth and effectiveness of the accounts receivable training program.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, seminars, in-service training, and relevant external trainings to remain informed of agency policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain the monthly pended report and ensure it is posted prior to month-end close.
  • Maintain core competencies related to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and the application of learned skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including self-pay account support, rebilling assistance, and other accounts receivable functions as needed.

Quality Assurance Training Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Training Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive training and audit program for the Accounts Receivable team. This role supports the onboarding of new employees, provides ongoing education for existing staff, and promotes consistent understanding of accounts receivable processes, insurance billing requirements, and quality assurance standards. The position also serves as a key liaison between clinical and financial departments to support accurate claims processing, identify training opportunities, and drive continuous improvement within the accounts receivable function.
