SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of complex program elements, development, and administration in coordination with the Project Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Makes recommendations to Project Director concerning pay increases, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, hiring and firing; defines workloads with attention given to setting priorities and monitoring progress
- Works as liaison with community agencies and referral sources, representing Red Rock and initiating strong cooperative linkage with possible resources; services on outside committees when feasible
- Completes and, with coordination with Project Director, assures completion of all necessary paperwork, progress notes, special reports, and statistical data; meets quality management requirements
- Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars
- Acts as role model in interpersonal relationships with staff and clients
- Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
- Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objective
- Maintains safe environment for clients and co-workers by constant follow-up and communication with all agencies involved with treatment or service to client
- Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
- Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree required, in Mental Health related field preferred
- 6 Months experience in high fidelity wraparound
- Experience working with community resources
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
- One year of direct experience in Systems of Care preferred
- One year experience in a leadership role preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
