Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Sugar Land, TX. This role focuses on inspection, quality control, and process improvements to ensure products meet customer standards before leaving the facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience manufacturing electro-mechanical products.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspection documents.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage First Article Inspections, including recording, analyzing, and certifying results and driving process improvements.
• Own and manage Incoming Inspection, inspecting components before assembly and analyzing trend data.
• Support investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions for internal and supplier-related quality issues.
• Conduct analyses related to critical control points, preventive measures, limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
• Provide technical support and backup to Quality Control Inspectors.
• Train production personnel on quality-related processes.
• Assist with corrective action processes, calibration programs, ISO 9001 certification work, process and product audits, and other quality projects.
