Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in Abilene, TX is seeking a Quality Technician to perform qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout production.

You will audit equipment, analyze beverage attributes, test CO2 and materials, and help maintain high cleanliness to prevent contamination. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s in physical science or food industry experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• 1-3 years general work experience required.
• Prior food production operation experience preferred.
• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read MSDS and operate manufacturing equipment.

Job Location: Abilene,TX
Work days/Shift Hours – Monday-Friday 1 PM- Complete

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $21.01 to $26.06 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.
• Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes.
• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.
• Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.
• Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials prior to production process.
• Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.

• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
