Job summary

Avient Corporation in Indiana is seeking a hands-on quality tester to verify production batch conformity and safeguard customer specifications. You will run standard tests on production batches and select raw materials, maintaining COAs and recording results in SAP.

As part of a manufacturing plant team, you will act as a technical resource, document test outcomes, and help drive continuous quality improvements while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience performing standard tests on production batches and some incoming materials.
• Ability to record results in SAP and maintain COA files.
• Willingness to follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard tests on production batches and some incoming materials, ensuring they meet Avient and customer specifications.
• Serve as a technical resource to production addressing batch-related issues.
• Recommend and develop adjustments to batches to meet specifications.
• Record test results in SAP and maintain reference files.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain documentation.
• Ensure gauges and test equipment are verified.
• Participate in investigations of complaints and corrective actions as needed.
• Follow safety/work rules and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Complete and send COA documentation to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
