Job summary

Amcor is seeking a quality technician to perform resin/film lab tests and on-line checks. You will conduct Elmendorf tear tests, dart drop tests, and gauge film, ensuring conformance and reporting non-conformances.

The role requires lifting up to 57 pounds, operating forklifts and lab equipment, and training new staff. Strong safety mindset and ability to work 12-hour shifts in a noisy environment with PPE are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with quality testing on products.
• Ability to operate lab and packaging equipment.
• Ability to train new employees and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab tests of resin or film in the lab and on the line.
• Perform quality checks on all lines and take action on non-conforming product.
• Report non-conformances to Lead Quality Auditor or Shift Supervisor.
• Fill in for Lead Quality Auditor as requested.
• Maintain housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by QA leadership.
