Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to provide support, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements across manufacturing and quality functions. You will validate processes, inspect in-process manufacturing, and collect data to support product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and strong QC tools knowledge, with experience in QMS/ISO standards and MS Office. Join a global leader in electrical protection solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in quality/manufacturing.
• Optional AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of charting and process control.
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) experience preferred.
• Interpret orders, drawings, and extract requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.).
• Identify root causes and propose resolutions.
• Understand ISO procedures and documentation.
• Comfort with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support and lead root cause analysis.
• Perform process validations and in-process inspections.
• Support data collection and product review.
• Ensure adherence to QMS and train others.
• Conduct internal ISO audits and assist in audit areas.
• Prepare formal FAI reports as needed.
• Verify dimensional and functional requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply, Design, and Quality.
