Job summary

AAON is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II in a manufacturing environment to support QA through inspections, tests, and audits. You will work with production teams to identify defects and implement corrective actions, ensuring products meet standards.

Role requires attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and collaboration across engineering and production. Expected to participate in audits and maintain accurate records, with standard shifts and potential overtime based on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in QA/manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of QA principles and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain records according to company standards.
• Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to verify dimensions and performance.
• Support internal audits and participate in quality training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with AAON’s quality management system and industry standards.
• Promote a culture of quality on the production floor.
