Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent customer in the North Andover, MA area, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring product quality through comprehensive inspection, testing, and documentation related to finished products, protocol samples, and first-piece inspections. They will also implement prevention-based quality initiatives, including audit inspections of finished goods, defect identification, corrective actions, and maintaining quality levels aligned with company goals. Quality Assurance Technician Summary

Type: Direct Hire / Full Time

Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM – 7:15 PM (2/3, 3/2)

Pay: $25.96/HR - $32.84 DOE

• Inspect and document results for all work-in-process components for compliance with customer requirements.
• Understand and demonstrate knowledge of testing and measuring equipment used in Quality and Manufacturing departments.
• Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, and measurement methods.
• Inspect parts from new molds and collaborate with Process Engineering.
• Apply statistical process control techniques.
• Collect or select samples for testing or as models.
• Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products/materials to verify standards.
• Ensure operators are qualified in equipment operation and part inspection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, responsible for quality assurance.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and meet or exceed expectations.
• Capable of working efficiently to meet production standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Professional competence and knowledge for satisfactory performance.
• Working knowledge of measurement equipment.
