Job summary

Tasty Brands LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our USDA-regulated ready-to-eat food manufacturing operations in Evansville, Indiana. This role ensures food safety, maintains quality records, and coordinates sampling across the plant to uphold customer specifications and HACCP requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of inspection/production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with Operations,

Qualifications

• Experience in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing facility preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of inspection and/or production experience desired.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection reports and daily data entry.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company standards.
• Perform inspections across production, shipping, receiving and warehousing.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and implement changes.
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns promptly.
• Collect, label, log, and dispose of retained product samples per procedures.
• Verify packaging materials, labels, lot codes, and allergen declarations.
