Qualifications
Two-year technical degree with QA or technical work in manufacturing preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SAP experience desired.
Experience with lab instrumentation and measuring tools.
Excellent color perception and color judgment required.
Learn specifications and production methods for extrusion, laminating, painting, coating and finishing.
Ability to manage multiple tasks across products.
May require travel.
PPE usage and safety compliance are required.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance to safety policies and procedures.
Monitor product quality by collecting in-process samples and performing inspections to ensure specifications are met.
Test raw materials and review COAs for adherence to material specs.
Record and analyze data from inspections and testing; maintain records.
Audit finished goods to assure quality of outgoing product.
Support calibration of test equipment and writing/reviewing test procedures.
Obtain color samples for customers and other departments.
Other duties as assigned.
