Job summary

HYPRO INC in Waterford, WI is seeking a detail‑driven Quality Assurance Technician - CMM Operator to join our 2nd or 3rd shift Quality team. You will perform dimensional inspections on castings, apply GD&T, and review CMM reports to ensure blueprint‑ready components are produced on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have experience operating CMM equipment in manufacturing, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work independently on night shifts while collaborating with production.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Solid math skills including geometry and trigonometry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) per prints and specifications.
• Apply GD&T principles to complete detailed part inspections.
• Review and analyze CMM reports; collaborate with setup personnel to address adjustments.
• Conduct inspections using hand gauges and other measurement systems.
• Perform random audits of documentation and production processes.
• Maintain accurate inspection and calibration records.
• Assist with control system checks and calibrations as required.
• Support additional quality tasks as assigned.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a detail-driven CMM Operator to join our 2nd or 3rd shift Quality team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring precision and consistency as we machine castings into blueprint-ready components. Key Responsibilities

This role is performed in a CNC manufacturing environment and involves hands-on work on theshop floor
