Location Description

The Meadville, Pennsylvania facility spans 135,000 square feet and employs about 290 team members who produce iconic pet food brands like Rachael Ray Nutrish. Situated along French Creek in Northwestern Pennsylvania, just 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Meadville is home to over 13,000 residents and 2,000 students from Allegheny College. The city is a vibrant hub for business, industry, education, arts, recreation, and tourism, with nearby attractions such as Conneaut Lake, Pymatuning State Park, and the Erie National Wildlife Refuge offering natural beauty and outdoor activities.

Whether you're interested in manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, or quality assurance, we have a spot for you.

• Manufacturing experience (preference for pet food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods)
• Good attendance and consistent performance, with a focus on safety and quality
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to problem-solving and solution implementation with diverse colleagues
• Willingness to work on shift (12-hour 2-2-3 rotation, fixed days or nights)
• Use of laboratory equipment
• Performing quality inspections of equipment and products
• Assisting in investigations and applying critical thinking
• Using computers to log information and access documentation
• Safely operating powered industrial equipment following safety rules and GMPs
• Performing physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, and platforms
• Ability to read, interpret, record, and apply information from documents
• Mechanical aptitude and operational skills
• Learning new systems, recording operational data, and communicating results
• Tracking quality and waste metrics
• Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and hours based on business needs
• Standing on concrete floors for 12 hours per day
• Reaching, bending, and twisting frequently
• Willingness to adapt to work flow to meet business needs
