Pretium Packaging is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician for 2nd shift in Cleveland, OH, to ensure the quality of plastic products. You will work with production to inspect, test, and document results, supporting calibration and non-conformance resolution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality assurance experience, preferably in plastics.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bottles and instruct disposition of suspect products.
• Measure and record data from samples and requests.
• Oversee and maintain the non-conformance hold area.
• Verify and coordinate calibration of plant measuring devices.
• Work with engineering on new products and sample retains.
• Trace defects to origin to determine resolutions for non-conformance issues.
• Prepare non-conforming product reports and quality alerts.
• Attend meetings on quality and safety issues and changes affecting production.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to inspection personnel.
• Support continuous improvement projects within the department.
• Perform other related duties and special projects.
