Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician on 2nd shift to monitor in‑process quality of parts and assemblies. You will verify drawings and specifications, generate NCM reports, and maintain inspection records.

You must be able to capture photos, enter data, and support Lean initiatives while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently within a

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of parts/sub-assemblies/Final Assembly Units to ensure drawings/specifications are met.
• Review inspection documents for accuracy and completeness; generate Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reports as needed.
• Capture and upload inspection-related photos; maintain and organize documentation.
• Input inspection results into the database and scan forms into designated files.
• Distribute paperwork and data entry; wear required protective gear.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous process improvement activities.

Use quality tools and practices to verify and ensure Quality requirements for both internal and external manufactured parts and assemblies have been met. Investigate unit quality related issues and concerns related to product and processes. Retrieve, scan, image, organize and maintain documents, such as inspection records, drawings, specifications, approvals and related items. Data entry where required.
