Trilliant Food & Nutrition, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our Little Chute, WI facility. You will ensure products meet quality, cost, and service standards while supporting plant functions and complying with all regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong English communication, and experience in food production. You will maintain lab records, operate testing equipment, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience with food processing, manufacturing or packaging required.
• Experience with food manufacturing in the quality function preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test the physical and performance attributes of test products.
• Maintain current knowledge of methods, specifications, standards, and tolerances.
• Put products failing requirements on hold as needed.
• Evaluate test results to decide pass/reject/disposition/rework actions.
• Communicate deviations to appropriate personnel when samples fail.
• Record data accurately and thoroughly; enter test results into systems.
• Maintain and organize lab records and files; ensure data integrity.
• Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of equipment and controls.
• Follow food safety, quality, and regulatory policies; escalate concerns as needed.

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for all products manufactured in the plant to ensure the fulfillment of the customer's expectations in terms of quality, cost, and service. Provides effective support for all plant functions to achieve this goal. Proactively complies with all local, state, federal regulations and all corporate/plant policies, rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all activities associated with testing the physical and performance attributes of test products.
• Maintains current knowledge of accepted methods, specifications, standards, and tolerances.
• Place product that does not meet requirements on hold as needed.
• Evaluates all products, including test results and related information, to make informed decisions on passing, holding, rejecting, dispositioning, or reworking products and takes appropriate action.
• Communicate to the appropriate personnel when product samples do not meet requirements.
• Responsible for accurate and thorough recording of all data and information related to quality.
• Enter product testing/results into a computer system.
• Responsible for complete upkeep and maintenance of these records.
• Responsible for the day-to-day working conditions in the lab. This includes, but is not limited to, cleanliness, orderliness, safety, routine maintenance, sanitation, organization of controls, samples, records, and files.
• Responsible for adhering to food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures; executing duties as outlined in standard operating procedures; and reporting any related concerns to the Production or Quality Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
• Previous experience with food processing, manufacturing or packaging required.
• Previous experience with food manufacturing in the quality function preferred.
• Passion for learning about food production and safety
• Team player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and judgment skills.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and related production and product information systems.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced high growth environment.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works 5:45pm to 6:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
