Job summary

Wiley X is seeking a QA/Lab Technician to handle inspections, testing, and data control within our lab in Frisco, TX. You will perform LAT and adherence to ANSI Z87.1 and MIL-PRF-32432 MCEPS ballistics testing, ensuring precise documentation and KPI tracking.

A High School Diploma and 1–2 years lab experience are required; lift up to 30 pounds is expected. You will contribute to improving processes, maintain records, and support nonconforming product disposition while collaborating with

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Experience in a laboratory or test setting (1–2 years).
• Ability to perform and document inspections and testing per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer testing parameters as outlined in ANSI Z87.1 / MIL-PRF-32432 MCEPS (ballistics).
• Control and maintain documents and records, including procedures and KPIs.
• Perform inline and incoming inspections; record nonconforming product and disposition.
• Maintain scrap records and KPI data; monitor performance against targets.
• Suggest improvements based on data and follow up on missed targets.
