Specialty Manufacturing Co. seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to support in-process and final inspections on-site in Minnesota.
You will perform audits using gages and CMM/vision systems, ensure conformance to the Quality Management System, and assist lean improvement projects. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred Associate degree in Quality Technician, plus strong communication, blueprint reading, and attention to detail.
The Quality Assurance Department ensures our products/services meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. The Quality Assurance Technician supports the activities required to meet these expectations by performing in-process, final, first article and receiving inspections/audits using various measurement equipment instruments and techniques. A Additionally, the Quality Assurance Technician develops and maintains inspection methods, ensures that quality procedures and processes are being followed and assists in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
Expected Compensation Range: Hourly, non-exempt- $20-$28
