Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the Northlake, TX facility. This full-time, second-shift role supports the Production team and drives key quality initiatives across the plant.

You will perform audits, provide technical QA support, monitor product processing, and ensure packaging integrity, while maintaining calibration and inventory of lab tools. The role requires attention to consumer requirements, a background in manufacturing, and willingness to work overtime and

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and tests from incoming raw materials to finished product to ensure wholesomeness.
• Provide QA support with emphasis on consumer requirements, product quality and productivity.
• Monitor processing, consistency and packaging integrity through analytical testing and documentation verifications.
• Take action on quality nonconformities and record results in the QCS system.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure calibration of measurement equipment.

Job Description:

About the Role:

The QA Role Tech role at the Northlake, TX. location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Perform various audits and tests from the incoming of raw material stage through the finish product to ensure wholesomeness of our product line.
• Provide technical support with an emphasis on consumer requirements, continuous product quality and productivity requirements.
• Monitor product processing, consistency, and packaging integrity by conducting analytical testing, sensory, product/ingredient sampling, as well as documentationverifications for quality assurance and measurement analysis.
• Take action on any quality noncompliance and records all results in the Quality Computer System.
• Maintain laboratory inventory of tools, supplies, chemicals, and assure all measurement analysis equipment is functional as well as calibrated on a routine basis.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 2:00pm to 10:30pm Monday-Friday . Pay ($22.71 - $23.79/hr) + $1.00 night-shift differential.
