Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for 1st shift (Mon-Fri). Pay is $20-24 BOE per hour. You will inspect metal components, read prints, and verify documentation to ensure defect-free parts, while following established processes.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of inspection experience, can read prints, and are proficient with measurement tools; HS diploma or GED required. We offer weekly pay, medical, dental, 401K, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Read prints or blueprints.
• Proficient with computers and software applications.
• Minimum 2 years inspection experience.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal components and verify documentation.
• Follow blueprints and specifications for quality parts.
• Ensure production processes are followed to prevent defects.
• Administer corrective actions when processes are not followed.
• Analyze procedures, materials, techniques and equipment for improvements.

Quality Assurance Technician

Work Schedule: 1st shift Monday thru Friday

Pay is $20-24 BOE

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of metal components & associated documentation
• Follow blueprint and set proper specifications to ensure quality of metal components
• Verify that established production and quality processes are being followed to provide defect-free components
• Administer corrective action when processes are not being followed
• Analyze all procedures, materials, techniques and equipment for process improvements

General Qualifications:

• Ability to read prints
• Ability to use variety of hand tools: squares, calipers, micrometers, rulers, indicators, precision blocks, height gauges, CMM
• Ability to use computers and software applications
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience
• 2+ years inspection experience
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge a plus
