Responsibilities

• Obtain and sustain source inspection authorization for product delivered to customers on source delegation (e.g., SA SSQS, MRAS DSQR).
• Support on-site customer source inspectors for first article and production products.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) Process through completion of FAI inspections and working closely with the Quality Engineer to develop required Inspection Plans.
• Perform inspection and certification review for incoming core and PX materials.
• Monitor the calibration program and perform mechanical calibrations, coordinate subcontractor calibration activity, and monitor inspection tool calibrations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Pass the Quality Delegate Visual Examination, including a Color‑Blind test.
• Experience working with mechanical inspection tools.
• Reading and writing skills, including comprehension of technical documentation (POs, specifications, blueprints, etc.) and experience developing audit reports and writing non‑conforming records.
• Eligible candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
