The ideal candidate will perform quality inspections and testing on wire products, ensuring compliance with specifications. You should have at least 2 years of Quality Assurance experience and familiarity with metrology tools. Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and minor maintenance on products.
• Release products after quality checks are passed.
• Document all tests in required forms and systems.
• Document all tests on required forms and in computer systems.
• Follow ISO Quality System documentation to guide daily quality activities.

Quality Assurance Technician

Hours: 3rd (10:00 pm –6:00 AM)

Days: Monday - Friday

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Job Description

QA Technician is responsible for performing quality inspection and testing of all wire products to ensure products meet laboratory specifications.

Primary Task

• Perform quality checks, as outlined in the process procedures for the machine, and minor maintenance when necessary
• Release products after all quality checks have been passed
• Immediately report quality issues to the supervisor or quality manager
• Document all test on required forms and in computer systems
• Use the company’s ISO Quality System documentation to help guide all daily quality activities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• Experience with metrology tools including calipers, micrometer, gages is a plus
• Wire and cable experience is highly desired
• Experience using MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Read, write and speak English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Lift up to 45 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
