Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control team member to perform unbiased product quality testing in the assigned area and to keep accurate records of all testing performed.

You will help ensure product safety and sanitary conditions in processing areas while being Ready to take on additional tasks as assigned by supervision. Cross-training and math skills are valued in this role.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GMP’s.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels in the company.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Good attendance history (4 points or less).
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • Willing to cross-train and learn all tasks in the department.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Able to manage time to complete all tasks.
  • Extended shifts may be required.

Job description

Physical Requirements

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable.

  • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
  • May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
  • Able to stand or freely move for duration of shift.
  • When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
  • Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through production environment.
  • Ability to work with tools, like scissors, knives and/or power tools for the duration of the shift.
