Summary

This role is responsible for quality inspection of products on the assigned shift and other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Currently hiring for night shift, 12 hours/shift, 7pm-7am.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of all molded products on each line in the Molding Department.
• Conduct sampling and testing of compounds in the Compounding Department.
• Document and maintain quality inspection findings for Molding and Compounding.
• Document non-conformities and hold affected products for investigation.
• Manage all hold product investigations and dispositions from your shift.
• Maintain computer records and inputs of all quality activities.
• Institute complete JDE Inventory records of hold or released products.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Maintain constructive relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Maintain regular attendance as per company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.

Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret data.

Skills

Ability to read and understand instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Forklift experience preferred.

Communication

Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Good verbal communication skills are essential.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.

Work Environment

Work may be outdoors, near moving machinery, or exposed to fumes or humidity. Safety gear such as steel toe shoes, glasses, and ear protection is required.
