Actalent is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Kansas City, KS. The technician will perform line audits, material inspections, and basic physical and chemical analyses in a 3rd shift, 11pm–7am environment, with training during the day. The technician will communicate data to the quality, operations, and manufacturing departments in a timely manner, and will utilize computer data entry and spreadsheets to maintain records.

The role is based in a food manufacturing setting where the production floor temperature can exceed 80 degrees in the summer and drop to 50 degrees in the winter. The position requires walking and standing in the warehouse for several hours and sitting for 2-4 hours. Daily lifting of weights from 1lb to 60lbs is expected. The role is on the 3rd Shift from 11pm to 7am, Sunday night to Friday, with 2-4 weeks of training during the day from 7am to 3pm. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
