Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a QA Technician in Kansas to monitor products and processes, ensuring that production specifications are met and that documentation and audits align with Quality and Food Safety Standards.

You will coordinate with USDA/FSIS, plant departments, and contracted sanitation personnel, perform pre-operation inspections, and participate in continuous improvement, sustaining a Creekstone Proud culture through proactive quality assurance in a plant environment

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, documenting, and communicating plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to ensure proper implementation
• Coordinating with plant personnel, USDA, and contracted sanitation personnel to comply with quality programs
• Working daily in cold environments (~45 degrees) and warm environments (~85 degrees)
• Maintain constructive relationships with various levels of personnel in various departments

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The QA Technician is responsible for monitoring products and processes to ensure that Creekstone Farms production specifications are met. This includes accurate and timely communicated documentation and audits that adhere to Quality and Food Safety Standards for every product. Other responsibilities may include pre-operation inspection activities and working closely with USDA, FSIS, USDA AMS and all departments within the plant. This individual will work closely with various departments by using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.
