About the Role

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Quality Assurance Technical Representative (Roofing Inspector) in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time, year-round, salary-based position with a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet and expense account provided.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
• Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro-Last specifications.
• Make repairs to Duro-Last roofs.
• Conduct on-site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
• Provide support to Duro-Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare reports for warranties.
• This is a physically challenging position that requires bending, lifting, pulling, climbing, etc.
• Other job duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstrated work ethic (punctual, dependable, trustworthy).
• Ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications; operate equipment per safety procedures.
• Professional conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Willingness to do extensive regional travel.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test, drug screen & criminal background check.
