Job summary

Amcor in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee all quality in the production area, ensuring that Injection Molding and Dry Offset Printing products meet inspection standards. This supervisor will support QA Inspectors daily, uphold safety, and drive efficiency while promoting pride in workmanship and attendance.

English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred, with strong ISO 9001 and SQF program experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and/or minimum of three years working in a quality related position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong and demonstrated understanding of SPC.
• Strong experience with ISO.
• ASQ certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with GMP's required and various organizations such as ASI, and AIB/SQF preferred.
• College degree is preferred.
• Must be able to wear protective clothing (hair net, uniform, steel toe shoes, bump cap and ear plugs).
• Hot and cold, noisy environment, with odors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee molding and printing quality inspection and testing program by QA Inspectors.
• Ensure product lines receive the required quantity of inspections and tests and that finished goods meet acceptance criteria.
• Maintain adequate working conditions and appropriate quality equipment and supplies.
• Report deviations to Quality and Production.
• Oversee integrity of NCMR (C-Pro), Material Transactions/Production Holds by QA.
• Execute control of various testing systems, protocols, and interfaces.
• Oversee ShopFloor Online and CQV processes.
• Size studies and trials with Product Development.
• Assist in testing and disposition of customer returned product.
