Job Description

The QA Supervisor will oversee the Quality Assurance team, managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies. Responsibilities include:

1. Training team members on safe work practices and promoting safety habits.
2. Performing quality-related tasks, including attending non-conformance meetings and guiding operations.
3. Training team members on department procedures and work instructions, ensuring documentation and record-keeping.
4. Cross-training employees (DHR and QC Inspectors) as applicable.
5. Coaching team members to understand work assignments and methods.
6. Monitoring production runs, responding to deviations and defects.
7. Participating in troubleshooting sessions with operations staff and engineers.
8. Maintaining knowledge of quality criteria for each product to ensure quality standards.
9. Auditing employee adherence to work instructions and quality requirements.
10. Monitoring packing and labeling to ensure first-quality products.
11. Reporting operational, quality, or safety issues to the Supervisor of Production.
12. Ensuring understanding and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a control environment, such as a parts measurement lab.
• Proficiency with measurement equipment like CMM, gauges, microscopes, calipers.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice in the Medical or Food Industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment with operator interaction.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP-QIM.
• Additional duties as assigned by Quality management.
