DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor in the Modesto area to supervise hourly QA staff and ensure compliance with the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements.

You will support CAPA, audits, metrics, and training, while coaching team members to meet quality and process standards daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Some knowledge of QA is preferred.
• People management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve the overall quality system, including CAPA management, internal audits, document control, and SOPs/work instructions.
• Assist on regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.

Job description

The Quality Assurance Supervisor role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000.

Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Description

Supervisor supporting a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance of the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements. Position is direct supervisor of hourly associates supporting quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.
• Provide support on key regulatory, customer and 3rd party audits.
• Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.
• Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance to processes and regulations.
• Be a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.
• Partner with QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.
• Meet regulatory requirements relevant to their operations on a daily basis.
• Ensure customer service and business standards requirements are met daily.
• Plan, conduct, and act upon inspection processes- Gemba; Standards Confirmation etc on a daily basis.
• Supervise, coach, and train hourly associates supporting quality assurance and control activities (e.g. Operators, QA Tech I, QA Tech II, etc).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Some knowledge of QA, preferred.
• People management experience, preferred.
• Sufficient computer application experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Data analysis experience.
• Training and facilitation skills.
• Self management.
