Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor at our Manawa, WI facility to lead QA programs ensuring product quality, food safety, and sanitation, while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise the QA team, oversee scheduling, and provide technical guidance to resolve quality issues. This role collaborates with R&D, supports plant testing, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a quality assurance team and scheduling activities.
• Knowledge of QA programs (Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming Products, Recalls, Food Safety Plans).
• Experience with laboratory practices, quality policies, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D and oversee plant testing.
• Experience with supplier quality and GMP audits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the QA team and ensure scheduling needs are met.
• Provide leadership and technical assistance to help resolve quality-related problems.
• Oversee, implement, and maintain QA programs, including Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming Products, Recalls, Food Safety Plans, and pest control systems.
• Define and enforce laboratory practices and quality policies.
• Ensure compliance with company and governmental sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness, support product changes, and oversee plant testing.
• Monitor raw material compliance and manage supplier communications.
• Provide quality and food safety training for employees at all levels.
• Conduct GMP and sanitation audits and summarize technical data to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Support quality systems and initiatives such as SPC, SQF, and continuous improvement processes.

About the Role:

In this role, you will lead the execution of quality assurance programs that support product quality, food safety, and sanitation while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
