Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a QA program, supervise hourly staff, and ensure site compliance with the DHL Quality Management System and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include audits, metrics tracking, training development, and collaboration with QA management to deliver regular management reports and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Some knowledge of QA preferred.
• People management experience preferred.
• Sufficient computer application experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Data analysis experience.
• Training and facilitation skills.
• Self management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the overall quality system and procedures.
• Support audits from regulatory, customer, and 3rd parties.
• Track and report site QA metrics and performance.
• Oversee training and development of hourly associates.
• Be the primary QA point of contact for issues and initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA leadership to produce regular management reports.
• Ensure daily adherence to regulatory requirements and customer standards.
• Oversee inspection processes and daily QA activities.
• Supervise and coach hourly QA staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000.

Job Description

Supervisor supporting a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance of the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements. Position is direct supervisor of hourly associates supporting quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.
• Provide support on key regulatory, customer and 3rd party audits.
• Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.
• Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance to processes and regulations
• Be a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.
• Partner with QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.
• Meet regulatory requirements relevant to their operations on a daily basis
• Ensure customer service and business standards requirements are met daily
• Plan, conduct, and act upon inspection processes- Gemba; Standards Confirmation etc on a daily basis
• Supervise, coach, and train hourly associates supporting quality assurance and control activities (e.g. Operators, QA Tech I, QA Tech II, etc)
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree, preferred
• Some knowledge of QA, preferred
• People management experience, preferred
• Sufficient computer application experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
