Job summary

ZumBev is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA team in ensuring beverage products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will monitor production processes, conduct inspections, audits, and work with production and R&D to maintain product consistency and integrity.

Responsibilities include supervising QA technicians, implementing HACCP, GMP, in-process testing, resolving quality issues, maintaining QA records, and participating in audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience in a beverage manufacturing environment; 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of FDA, USDA, FSMA regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with QA software, Microsoft Office, and lab equipment.

• Implement and maintain quality systems including HACCP, GMP, and internal audits.

• Coordinate and conduct in-process and finished product inspections and testing.

• Review and maintain accurate QA records, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct training for employees on quality and food safety protocols.
• Participate in third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
• Assist in developing and updating SOPs and quality documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.

Position Description

This role monitors production processes, conducts inspections and audits, ensures compliance with food safety standards and works closely with production and R&D to maintain product consistency and integrity.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in both office and production environments.
• May require standing for extended periods and working in cold or humid environments.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
