Position Details

• Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
• Reporting To: Manager, Process
• Work Schedule: Onsite - Torrance, CA

Moog Military Aircraft Group has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspection Supervisor to support our Audit and Metrology Department at our aerospace plant in Torrance, CA. Moog Aircraft Military provides flight control equipment and systems to leading military platforms, with headquarters in East Aurora, NY, and 14,000 employees across 24 countries.

This role reports to the Site Quality Manager and requires both technical and managerial leadership. The QC Supervisor will balance tactical and strategic approaches in Metrology and Receiving Inspection to ensure continuous process improvement, uphold product and process quality, and support production and services.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-year technical school degree with 4+ years of related experience in Quality Inspection, or
• High School/GED with 7+ years of related experience in Quality Inspection.
• Knowledge of metrology, inspection practices, tool and gage application, and product function.
• Strong understanding of quality requirements for parts, products, and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of AS9100 standards.
• Leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
• Experience in aerospace or highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of military and government specifications.
• Experience with SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Metrology and Receiving Inspection teams.
• Ensure compliance with Moog, customer, and government requirements.
• Coordinate calibration services and manage workloads to maintain quality standards.
• Implement and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external vendors and customers.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and other factors.
