Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Quality Assurance/Control professional to oversee compliance with the quality management system. You will manage material review, records, and training on quality documents to ensure system compliance.

This role emphasizes data control, documentation oversight, and corrective actions in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal skills; detail oriented to quality system requirements.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook; exposure to fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Formal quality training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document and data control oversight in Plant; ownership of measurement devices; corrective and preventive actions and follow-ups; oversight of quality records; process auditing for procedures compliance; statistical control of equipment and processes.
• Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
• QAR will act as trainer on quality department documents and not own all plant training responsibilities.
• Ensure proper records are maintained for gauges, nonconforming material, inspection forms, logs, etc.
