Qualifications

• Creditable specialized experience includes: contract compliance with design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization; analyzing contractor production process capability; developing a surveillance plan; performing audits and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to forward operating austere locations to perform duties at the will of the Combatant Commander.
• Conduct surveillance and audits of contractor processes to ensure contractual requirements are met and production capability is verified.
• Identify, understand, proof, measure and analyze contractor production processes to ensure compliance.

The incumbent will be required to deploy to forward operating austere locations in war zones to perform duties at the will of the Combatant Commander. Typical deployments last from 6-9 months.

To qualify for an Quality Assurance Specialist (Deployable), your resume and supporting documentation must support:

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.

To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes:

• Ensuring contract compliance with all requirements related to the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization of a variety of items.
• Identifying, understanding, proofing, measuring and analyzing contractor production process capability.
• Developing/implementing a surveillance plan that includes identification of contractor and sub-contractor production needs.
• Performing audits and surveillance of contractors process to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
