Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality inspections of medical cannabis products and ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, SOPs, WI, and state regulations.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and supports the QA team in maintaining product safety and compliance across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in manufacturing/quality control, and familiarity with recordkeeping and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; must be at least 21 years old.
• 2 years minimum employment experience in a manufacturing/quality control setting.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience with record keeping/internal auditing.
• Ability to follow existing inventory/inspection procedures accurately.
• Working knowledge of general computer operation and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a quality-centric setting (Medical/Manufacturing/Health related industries).
• Good writing/reading/arithmetic skills.
• Basic physical ability to walk and lift/move up to 50lbs if necessary.
• Self-motivated with leadership skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for multitasking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections on products, equipment, processes and procedures.
• Ensure package integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor product safety and quality throughout manufacturing.
• Ensure products are tested per procedures and meet specifications prior to release.
• Ensure testing data is recorded and maintained.
• Verify equipment and areas as required.
• Maintain logs and documentation accurately.
• Ensure SOPs and safety practices are followed.
• Assist Quality Manager with quality improvements and training.
• Analyze quality data to propose improvements.
• Collect product samples for development and lab use.
• Support the Quality team as needed.
