Job summary

GIT America, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a full-time technical support specialist for vehicle diagnostics and local IT projects with Hyundai and Kia. You will deploy and validate diagnostic systems, support testing, and collaborate to improve processes across teams.

The role requires bilingual English/Korean, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Occasional travel to factories in the Americas may be required.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency required.
• Fluency in English and Korean.
• Citizenship for port entry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive/mechanical engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for vehicle diagnostic systems and local IT projects.
• Provide technical support for diagnostic system deployment and testing for Hyundai and Kia vehicles, ensuring functionality.
• Assist with validation of diagnostic systems and local IT projects.
• Assist with verification of production and pre-production vehicles produced by Hyundai and Kia factories in the Americas.
• Provide technical support for vehicle communication specifications.
• Assist with new vehicle validation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
