The Georgia Department of Agriculture Laboratory Division seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain the Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation across two laboratories in Atlanta. This position is located within the Georgia Department of Agriculture Laboratory Division and serves as the Quality Assurance Specialist for two laboratory sections located at the Atlanta laboratory location. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System for the Laboratory Division, in particular the maintenance of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, as well as other types of accreditations. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience related to area of assignment.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
